Dr. Holt is Owner and Director of the Tallahassee Sleep Diagnostic Center.

He has a Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Florida's College of Medicine where he also studied neural control of breathing with Dr. Paul Davenport.

He first started working in Sleep Medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1992 as Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Pulmonary Medicine Department. There he also taught on pulmonary mechanics and conducted research leading to several papers and articles on the control of breathing.

He is Board Certified as a Clinical Sleep Specialist by the American Board of Sleep Medicine.

He continues to teach as a professor at a local University with ongoing research interests.
